Having grown up in rural Derbyshire, in an historical property, surrounded by a remnant Nesfield garden, George was intoxicated from an early age by the art of garden design and architecture.
As soon as he was able, George enrolled on the garden design course at The English Gardening School at The Chelsea Physic Garden and completed his course a year later with a merit.
With a desire to understand, how a garden is not only designed, but constructed on site, he worked for a London based landscape company to gain as much practical experience as he could, before beginning his design career.
Having been introduced to Nicholas Tripp, through Simon Pyle of the English Gardening School, George began working with Taylor Tripp in 2009. George is involved in the design of many of the key projects, including the design of a hillside landscape in Corfu and the complete transformation of a riverside mill garden, as well as many other beautiful and inspiring gardens.
